Account set up
Local Freight account holders enjoy flexible billing and clear payment terms and access to our online booking portal. Invoices are generated weekly and automatically emailed to your nominated accounts address. Our standard payment terms are 14 days from the invoice date (or as otherwise agreed in writing).
We can work on Pallet and CPK (333kg/m3) rates to suit your freight profile. Rates are exclusive of fuel levy and GST.
Use of our services signifies your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions of Carriage. Please note we are not common carriers—goods are carried at the owner’s risk.
Additional charges apply for:
- Futile pickups or deliveries
- Excess waiting time (demurrage)
- Residential and deliveries to schools
- Dangerous goods handling
- Hand unloads & tailgate services
Current fuel levy rates can be found here.
Local Freight does not provide freight insurance. Customers should arrange their own cover if required.
